High School Entrance Test Prep – MCVSD & FRHSD Programs

Give your 8th grader focused preparation for competitive high school entrance testing. PALS Learning Center offers small-group test prep programs designed to strengthen test-taking skills, build confidence, and help students perform effectively under timed conditions.

MCVSD Test Prep

Prepare for the Monmouth County Vocational School District entrance exam with focused instruction in Math and English, including problem-solving, grammar, and reading comprehension skills emphasized on the MCVSD test.

Program Highlights

• 8-week program with 16 hours of instruction

• Choice of Friday or Saturday classes

• Math and English focused preparation

• Focused test-taking strategies

• Small-group instruction

• Study materials provided

• 4 mock tests

Two sessions available:

• Fall 2026

• Winter 2026–2027 – Covers the same Math and English focus using different practice materials from the Fall session.

FRHSD Test Prep

Prepare for the Freehold Regional High School District entrance exam with a focus on cognitive and logic-based reasoning, including abstract problem-solving and pattern-recognition skills rather than subject-area content.

Program Highlights

• 5-week program with 10 hours of instruction

• Choice of Friday or Saturday classes

• Cognitive and logic-based test-taking skills

• Small-group instruction

• Study materials provided

• 2 mock tests

Fall 2026 session available.
